Back when the television series “Leverage” was being filmed in Portland, I would regularly work on set, helping out with various promo and publicity packages for the show.  Interestingly, I was usually brought in to help out with location audio recordings for the promo packages, rather than for my camera skills.

This particular photo was taken while I was engaged in “audio recording” duties, but while also realizing that a great shot was casually taking place in front of me.

One of the series’ actors, Aldis Hodge, was standing underneath an American flag, in wardrobe, and checking his phone, when it becames insanely obvious (to me at least) that a really cool photographic scene was happening.

Out came my iPhone (rather than a “real” camera).

And the shot turned out pretty damn good.
