A trip to Venice, Italy is an opportunity to take some absolutely amazing photographs.

Unfortunately, being in Venice also provides more than a hundred-and-one opportunities to shoot some incredibly clichéd images –– photos we’ve seen time and time again.

This picture, taken from atop the Rialto Bridge, might have certain clichéd elements to it (I mean… C’mon… It’s a photo of a Venetian Gondolier) though I’d like to think the lighting, framing, positioning, and camera angle takes this particular image from the “been there, seen that” category, and places it into a “Hey! That’s kinda’ cool!” category.
