There are times when there’s little –– if any –– distinction between the city of Portland and its citizenry,  and the characters in the TV show Portlandia.

Hell…  In real life –– in real life Portland –– we have The Unipiper: a kilt-wearing, unicycle-riding, flaming-shooting-bagpipe-playing young man who’s gaining national fame as our city’s unofficial mascot.

And it is worth mention (again) that The Unipiper really is a nice young man.
